This large-scale terracotta vessel is a breathtaking celebration of Oaxacan heritage, handcrafted by the esteemed Velasco family in the historic pottery village of Santa María Atzompa.
Using the ancestral filigrana en barro (clay filigree) technique, each delicate petal and leaf is sculpted individually by hand and layered onto the vessel to create a lush, three-dimensional garden in clay. The raw, earthy texture of the low-fire ceramic offers a warm, collected feel that grounds a contemporary room.
