Vidriado Candleholder

$60.00 $75.00

Revel in the textural beauty of these unique candleholders from San José de Gracia, Michoacán. Each piece is decorated using the "pastillaje" technique in which small amounts of clay are rolled and molded between the fingertips to create the decorative exterior. They're then fired using a high-temperature glazing process called "vidriado" that creates a glass-like appearance. Style them alone or as a set to bring a bit of masterful Michoacán artistry to your space.

Note: The candleholder cup holds a standard tea light, or you can use a tapered candle positioned with candle adhesive.
