Floral Torso Bud Vase
Hand-formed by renowned ceramics studio Taller Manos Que Ven in Oaxaca, this whimsical red clay vase is a poetic exploration of the female form. Sculpted from native Oaxacan barro rojo, the vessel's stylized torso features delicate, hand-molded floral appliqués. Perfectly proportioned as an artful vessel for dried stems or as a standalone sculptural accent on a bedside table, desk, or open shelf nook.
- Dimensions: 2.5"W x 2.5"D x 5"H (approx.)
- Origin: San Antonio Castillo Velasco, Oaxaca
- Artisan Studio: Taller Manos Que Ven
- Material: Natural red clay

Handcrafted at Taller Manos Que Ven ("Hands That See") in San Antonio Castillo Velasco, Oaxaca, this piece embodies a story of extraordinary resilience, love, and artistic mastery. Founded by world-renowned ceramicist Maestro José García Antonio and his wife and muse, Maestra Santa Reyna Teresita, the family studio is celebrated for its poetic terracotta sculptures. Despite losing his sight to cataracts in middle age, Maestro José continues to sculpt expressive clay forms purely by touch and memory, working side by side with Teresita and their children. This piece highlights the studio’s celebration of the female form and organic clay textures.
