Crafted by the master potters at San Germán Cerámica, this piece is a beautiful showcase of authentic Tonalá pottery traditions. Tonalá is legendary for its heritage of high-fire ceramics and intricate freehand painting inspired by the natural world. Shaping a wall vessel of this form requires incredible skill—the artisan must throw a rounded bowl shape on the wheel before meticulously hand-altering it to ensure the reverse side is flat, stable, and ready to sit flush against a wall.
